The Significance of this Rainbow! Caring for Kids Clothing Fall Gear Fundraiser! Rainbow created by: 5 year old Genesis

Why this rainbow, you ask? Rainbows reflect beauty, new beginnings, feelings of hope to peace and equality.  That’s what I connected to when I saw 5 year old Genesis’s rainbow displayed in her classroom.  I was drawn to her rainbow by the colors and the way it stood out from all of the others.  Right away, I knew that this was what I was looking for.  Genesis’s rainbow represented all of the things that Caring for Kids symbolizes.

I asked Genesis if she would share her rainbow with myself and some special friends of mine. She shook her head yes, and was smiling from ear to ear.  I want to always capture our children through C4K and this couldn’t have been a more perfect match! 

A big thank you to Genesis’s parents, Gabriel and Jocely Magana. C4K thanks them for their support, sharing their family with me and for supporting our vision.   We have so much gratitude for little Genesis (5) for creating the prettiest rainbow that we have ever seen!  A special thank you to her sister and brother, Ileanexis (14) and Nathaniel (11)! They were also students who attended Lyon Magnet. You two are going to do big things in this world!
